        We have been in the market for a long time already and we love it more and more.:-) LOAP is a pioneer of sportswear and outdoor equipment in this country since 1993.

      • Where else in the world can you buy LOAP?

        If you think you will need to buy a backpack when on holiday abroad and you will want to look for a store with our goods nearby, head for Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Greece. You can also enjoy LOAP products in Turkey, Venezuela and Ukraine.

        All modesty aside - yes, we are. We are the proud manufacturer and distributor of the  Czech brand LOAP with its own design team and more than two decades of experience in the field.

        Exactly. We are a Czech brand, we are based in Prague, and we have our own design and technology team for clothing and outdoor equipment.

      • I have bought outdoor shoes in the store Sportisimo but they are not included on your site. What should I think?

        Don't worry. It is 100% our model. If you cannot find it on our website, it is a model from an older collection, which was sold out before launching our e-shop.

      • Do you have everything you produce in the e-shop?

        You will find the latest collection of LOAP merchandise from earlier seasons in our e-shop. Most products are in stock, but you can also view exclusive items only available at selected stores of our business partners (e.g. Sportisimo).

      • What are LOAP points indicated on the label of the goods?

        It was this way ... :-) Competition Points called LOAPs were gathered by our customers for buying goods. The reward for a certain number of points were tangible prizes. However, the competition already ended and the points can be no longer be applied.

      • I saw your goods in a store, but I cannot find it in the e-shop. Why?

        LOAP sells goods only via its own e-shop, but it also delivers the goods through retail outlets and e-shops of its trading partners. Some products are supplied exclusively to selected trading partners, i.e. you can only purchase them in stores of this trader or in his e-shop.

      • Where can I test the products LOAP?

        All goods can be tried out in stores of our business partners.

      • How do I know if a product is in stock?

        All the goods available in stock is marked with the green text "In Stock". Information on the availability of goods can be found above the button "Add to Cart" on each product page.

      • Goods that I wanted is sold out. Will it be available again?

        99% yes, merchandise is continually added to the stock from the central warehouse. If you want to be 100% sure right now, please contact us. If the goods are marked "Discontinued", it won't be available anymore.

      • How do you compare multiple products at once?

        If you are e.g. in a category Men's Jackets and Vests, move the mouse across the photo of the selected product and click into the red circle icon on the icon of scales. If you are on a product page, click on the icon of scales under the button "Add to cart". The selected products are then added to the comparison and displayed in the lower part of our site.

      • How do I save products for later review?

        Click on the "heart" icon, which can be found next to each product. After clicking, the d you selected will be stored in the so-called "Favourites". All your "Favourites" can be found in the lower right corner on our website.

      • I have goods in the shopping cart, but I still need to rethink the order. How long will the goods remain in the cart?

        If you log in to your customer account, the goods will remain in the shopping cart as long as you want. Unfortunately, however, we can not ensure that the goods will remain in stock. It is possible that it will be sold in the meantime. This is why we recommend you not to postpone purchase of selected goods.

        Positive reviews are written by our real customers. Negative reviews are surely written only by our competitors. :-) But seriously. We never write our own reviews. We obviously regret negative reviews, but we do not delete them. We try to learn from them and ensure that your experience with us will always be pleasant.

      • Why should I believe in your own product testing?

        We swear: We do not interfere with the results and conclusions of tests of LOAP In any way. The tests are independent, i.e. performed by external specialists from outdoor environment, travellers or sports enthusiasts.

        You can apply the discount voucher when buying goods in our e-shop. Choose the product you want to buy. Then go to the cart and check that you want to apply the discount.  Then enter your coupon code into the box of the discount. The discounted price will be automatically recalculated.

        If you are going to order goods for CZK 5,000 or more, you will automatically get a 5% discount.       • Can a gift be exchanged for other goods?

        A gift is a bonus to your order, we do exchange it for other goods. In case the gift has more options, you can choose another option, which you will like more, in the order. If you really do not want the gift, please delete it from your order. It will make happy someone else.

      • Can I choose the size and colour of the gift?

        Of course, if the gift has several variants and/or colours.:-)

      • When I do not want the gift, will I get an additional discount on goods?

      • How much will I pay for shipping?

        If your order is valued at CZK 1,500 and more, the shipping within the Czech Republic is for free. Shipping of all orders with a lower value cost CZK 99 and DPD will deliver the goods directly to your home. If you collect the goods in person in HeurekaPoint/Uloženka, you will pay only 49 CZK. Find your nearest retail outlet.

      • How fast will be the delivery of the ordered goods?

        Place an order on any working day until 12:00 a.m. and the goods will be delivered on the next working day. Place an order e.g. on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. and the goods will be delivered on Friday during the day.

      • Can I collect the goods in person?

        Yes. You can collect the goods in person at all branches of HeurekaPoint/Uloženka.

      • Can I extend the time for pick-up at the distribution point?

        Yes, just arrange for it with the branch HeurekaPoint/Uloženka, where your shipment was sent to. You will receive the contact to the office in an SMS confirming that your shipment is ready for collection.

      • Do you deliver goods abroad as well?

        Yes, the goods can be delivered abroad as well. Send us your order by e-mail, incl. the required delivery address. First, we will confirm the shipping costs. If you agree with it, we will send you the goods immediately after payment in advance.

      • I want the delivery to the Czech Republic, but payment in euros. Is this possible?

        Sure, it is possible and we can arrange it together. Just switch the prices in the top right part of our e-shop from CZK to EUR. The goods in the shopping cart will then be automatically displayed in euros. Afterwards, fill in the required place of delivery, incl. country, as the address. By default, you can choose delivery all around the Czech Republic and Slovakia. If you want to have the shipment delivered abroad, please contact us.

      • Is it possible to buy on the basis of an invoice?

        If you represent a state institution, e.g.  a school, please contact us. We will arrange your order.

      • I did not receive the invoice in the package. Can you send it to me?

        Of course. Your invoices are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you purchased through your customer account, log into it - see the invoice in the "My Documents". If you don't have the customer account with us yet, join us. join us. Besides the access to all your documents, you will also get a number of benefits for our regular customers. Eventually we'll send you an invoice by e-mail, just write to us at objednavky@loap.cz and indicate your order number.

      • How can I use LOAP points obtained for previous purchases?

        This is simple. You can apply the gathered LOAPs in the second step of the order - when selecting the payment. LOAPs will be applied on your entire order, i.e. both on goods and shipping.

      • Can I use some LOAP points and to pay the rest by a credit card?

        Definitely yes. First, apply the gathered LOAPs on your order and then select the method of payment of the remaining amount. You can pay for your order both by LOAPs and by a credit card, or even by LOAPs in combination with COD.

      • Can I use only a portion of the collected LOAP points?

        Sure! When you already have e.g.1000 LOAPs, but the order is valued at CZK 600, you can apply only 600 LOAPs. You will get the order totally for free and on top of all that you will have over 400 LOAPs left, which you can apply again next time.:-)

      • I have a gift certificate. How do I apply it?

      • How do I find the status of my order?

        Actually, you just have to look at your e-mail or phone. We will send you a message about any change of the order: We will immediately confirm the acceptance of your order by email. We will inform you about the dispatching and handing the shipment over to the forwarder by email as well. The DPD driver will send you an SMS with the approximate time of delivery on the day he/she receives the shipment. If you chose to pick up the goods in person, you will receive an SMS from the branch HeurekaPoint/Uloženka on the day, when the shipment is ready for collection. You can see the order status in your customer account in our e-shop - in "My Orders" at any time. Regarding the purchase without registration/logging in, please contact us. We will gladly inform you about the status of your order.

      • I have not received a confirmation email of the order. Should I pay for the goods?

        If you have not received a confirmation e-mail after sending the order, don't pay for the goods yet. There is probably a technical problem. Please just contact us, we will solve it quickly.

      • You accepted the order.Can I still change or cancel it?

        Please contact us immediately! We process incoming orders immediately, therefore you must act fast, so that we can arrange any changes you require.

      • How do I know that I can pick up an order?

        Before you go to pick up your goods from the point of sales HeurekaPoint/Uloženka, please wait for the confirmation SMS that your shipment is ready to be picked up.

      • How do I know that the ordered goods has been sent to me?

        First, check the e-mail. As soon as we send the goods, you will receive an email confirmation that the goods are on their way to you. If you chose a delivery to you home, expect an SMS from the driver on the day of delivery. If you want to pick the goods up in person in HeurekaPoint/Uloženka, wait for the confirmation SMS that the goods are ready for collection.

      • What is the difference between the warranty period and the shelf life?

        The warranty period is set by law at 24 months. During this time, you are entitled to claim the goods. The shelf life of a product is the time during which the product can fulfil its function, and can be longer than the warranty period. The shelf life is directly proportional to the maintenance and care for the product and how often you use the product, and that you follow the manual and manufacturer's instructions. It may therefore happen that an excessive load will shorten the life of the goods and any complaint will not be accepted. Consider for example a tent. A tent is designed for traveling and camping. However, if you live in it permanently, it will probably not be usable after two years and no complaint will be accepted.

      • Where should I send the claimed goods?

      • Can I claim goods bought at another store?

        Sorry, but that's not possible. LOAP does not have its own stores, these are just stores of our business partners. Claims must be lodged directly with the dealer from whom you bought the goods and who issued the invoice, or receipt.

      • How long does it take to process a claim?

        We will try to resolve your complaint promptly, within 14 calendar days. By law, we have up to 30 days, but we are usually much faster.;-)

      • Can I claim goods without invoices?

        If you don´t have invoice, please send us order number. If the goods was purchased in a retail outlet or in another e-shop, which is not our e-shop, claims must be resolved directly with the seller, who is liable for the sold goods.

    • HOW TO DRESS
      • Which softshell will be more useful - with parameters 3000/3000 or 8000/5000?

        Regarding softshell LOAP, do not hesitate to take both. :-), In general, it will be better to use softshells with the water column of 3000 mm and breathability 3000 g/m2/24 for everyday wear. In the mountains, where weather changes frequently, the preferable variant is the more technical softshell with the parameters 8000/5000.       • How do I know which size of clothes I should buy?

        Great, apparently we agree that the exchange of goods because of a wrong size is completely unnecessary. The simplest way is to check our Size Chart, or you can use it to measure the required sizes. You can thus quickly and easily choose the size, which will suit you best.

      • What is the "onion" system of dressing?

        If you need to keep everything important dry, read on. The "Onion" system works on the basis of layering. You wear the bottom layer of clothing directly on your body - i.e. functional underwear. Thermal underwear warms you up, does not absorb moisture and  dries quickly. The middle layer acts as a thermal insulator and leads the moisture farther away from the skin. The outer layer protects against adverse climatic and weather conditions and in case of functional jackets and trousers with sufficient breathability (min. 3000 g/m2/24 h) it leads moisture up to the surface of all layers. Thanks to the "Onion" system of three layers you will stay dry even during increased physical load and you will not be cold in winter either.       • Why should I put on 3 layers of clothes?

        Because those, who do not layer their clothes, cannot do sports properly. Layering of clothes is the basis of every sporting activity - each layer has its irreplaceable role in maintaining the proper body temperature while helping to lead (evaporate) moisture and sweat away from the body. Another advantage of layering is the possibility to add or remove layers according to current climate changes or weather conditions.       • What is thermal underwear good for?

        Thermal underwear is worn even by Krakonoš, who invented winter. The functional underwear prevents excessive sweating, you that you will stay dry and you will not be cold. Functional underwear does not soak water, on the contrary it leads moisture away from the skin. If you do not have it already, it's time to buy it - long johns are sexy again.

      • I need a women's jacket for mountains. Which one do you recommend?

        Of course! Your new ski clothes, i.e. jacket and pants should have a light filling. A ski jacket should ideally include a snow belt, hood and inner sleeves. A jacket should also include taped seams and the parameters at least 3000/3000 for mountain in the Czech Republic (i.e. 3000 mm water column and breathability 3000 g/m2/24 h).

      • Which men's ski jackets do you have?

        Functional and becoming jackets. :-) You will find at least 8 models of men's winter jackets in every LOAP winter collection, 4 of which have technical parameters (membrane or coating, water column, breathability) and are suitable both for skiing and for snowboarding. Each winter collection naturally includes ski pants, technical sweatshirts, functional underwear and accessories such as hats and gloves.

      • I need a jacket for cross-country skiing. Which one do you recommend?

        Choose a lightweight, easily packable jacket (perhaps into a backpack or LOAP bum bag). It should have sufficiently long sleeves and a little longer back to cover the entire back, because you are in the position of a slight crouch most of the times during cross-country skiing.

      • Which warm sweatshirt would you recommend?

        You can identify warmer sweatshirts LOAP according to the material with the weight of at least 260 g/m2. The most pleasant sweatshirts are those with the "hairy" inside. Just be careful of your surroundings, maybe they will begin to hug you more often than usual.

      • Which size of a jacket should I buy?

        The best size is the one that does not look saggy on you or which is not too tight. In case of functional clothing it applies that the jacket must fit you just right. This usually mean that the jacket should have your current dress size. To be sure, check the size in our Size Chart.  Tabulce velikostí."

      • Which width of pants should I buy?

        The width of sports trousers is adapted to their purpose and type of activity. If you need ski pants, opt for a closer fit with the extension of the lower part of the leg, so that it can be  conveniently pulled over the ski boots. Snowboard pants are generally wider with deeper sit due to greater motion requirements of snowboardists.

      • How do I measure myself across the chest?

        Two are better than one, said the breasts and let themselves be measured. The width of breasts is measured standing upright with arms close to the body and it is measured in the full body circumference at the widest point of the chest. In order to get the most accurate value possible, ask someone else to perform measuring. And when the person is measuring you, you can ask them, if they want to buy something from us as well. You will save on postage. ;-)

      • How do I measure the waist?

        Measure yourself like a wasp. At the narrowest point of the waist standing upright.

      • How do I measure the hips?

        The width of hips is measured at the widest point of the hips and buttocks in the full body circumference. If you are not ashamed, ask someone else to perform measuring, so that the measurement is more accurate and the clothing will fit you better.

      • How do I measure the shoulders?

        The width of shoulders is measured on the back, from the top of one shoulder across the neck to the top of the second shoulder. It is a bit more difficult, but when someone helps you to measure it, it can even be fun. :-)

      • How to properly measure the length of the sleeve?

        Did you also use to stretch arms, when you did not like some jacket? However, you are an adult now, so measure properly, because after all, you want that the chosen jacket really fits. The sleeve length is measured from the top of the shoulder along the outer side of the arm, which is close the body, as far as the imaginary line of about 2 cm from the first joint of the thumb.

      • How do I measure the length of the inner leg?

        The length of the inner pant leg is measured from the crotch to the bottom edge of the pant leg. So breath and go for it.

      • How do I measure the length of the outer leg?

        The length of the outer pant leg is measured from the waist to the bottom edge of the pant leg. This is easy, right?

      • How do I measure the right size for a cap?

        The head circumference should be measured at the widest point of the head.

      • How do I find the right size of gloves?

        With properly sized gloves, you will attach the eyes to the snowman, with bad sized gloves, you will poke his eyes out. But if you do not want to wait for someone to build a snowman, measure your finger length and palm circumference, as these are the most important values for selecting gloves.       • What is the difference in sizes marked with a number (38, 40 etc.) and with a letter (M, L etc.)?

      • What are the parameters of your ski jackets?

        Ski jackets LOAP have parameters (i.e.. Water column in mm and permeability in g / m2 / 24 h) generally 8000/5000, 8000/3000, 6000/6000, 5000/5000 and 5000/3000. Which parameters are best depends on whether you are going on a glacier or to the Giant Mountains. Generally, the higher the mountains, rainfall and humidity, the higher the water column appreciate. Breathability of a fabric expresses the energy, which is needed for the evaporation of a certain quantity of water at a certain temperature and humidity. The lower is the value, i.e. the lower is the energy required for draining of water, the more the fabric is breathable.       • What is the difference between water resistance and water repellence?

        Waterproof or rainproof attributes are also a permanent treatment of the material, which resists water penetration steadily. The water-repelling effect is not permanent in nature, it is just such a treatment of a material, which ensures that the material will not get soaked with water for a certain period of time and that the water just trickles down the surface of the material. E.g. ski jackets or softshell jackets are waterproof, while city jackets usually have a water-repellent finish.

      • What does the term waterproof mean?

        Waterproof or rainproof are stable attributes of the material, which enable it to resist water pressure without the material getting soaked. Products with the given value of the water column are rainproof just until the moment of reaching this value.

      • What does the term water repellence mean?

        Water repellency is the ability of a material to resist rain or water in general for a certain period of time. Water will not soak into the material structure, but typical drops appear on the material, which can be knocked down without the moisture penetrating the material. Water repellency is a sufficient protection of jackets in a city. If you miss a tram, and the next tram arrives only in 5 minutes, you do not have to worry about the rain in such a jacket. If you miss a bus, and the next one arrives in about an hour, you'd better hide under the canopy at the bus stop or use an umbrella.

      • Do you have any safety certification for children's clothes?

        Just like you, we care about the clothes for our children. Yes, materials for children's products are regularly tested in the National Health Institute according to the Ministry of Health Ordinance no. 84/2001 Coll. as amended, which is in accordance with OEKO-TEX Standard 100. You can be sure that they meet strict environmental requirements, so that they are suitable for intensive contact with children skin.

      • Is 100% cotton better than cotton with elastane?

        100% cotton is a natural material and is therefore suitable for those who prefer natural fibres, e.g. for health reasons. Cotton with a partial addition of elastane preserves the characteristics of cotton such as absorbency, easy maintenance, pleasant touch, and moreover, the clothing keeps a shape well, it is flexible and comfortable due to a greater flexibility of such material.

      • What does weight in grams (grammage) mean for T-shirts, sweatshirts or pants?

        Grammage means the weight of material weighed on a sample of fabric of a circular cut-out having a diameter of 10 cm. You cannot just make something like that up, or can you? :-)

      • What do abbreviations like PL or CO presented in the materials mean?

        The abbreviation PL commonly refers to a material made of synthetic fibres - polyester. CO stands for cotton and comes from the English word "cotton".

        STORMEX is a specially developed technology reinforcing the fabric from polyester or polyamide fibres with a reinforced structure, which reliably withstands adverse climatic and weather conditions.         TECNOSOFT is a glossy material adapted by means of a sophisticated technology of plain weave with approximately the same number of yarns in both directions into a form, which resembles silk, one of the most precious fabrics in the world.         THERMOCOOL is a unique technology, which optimizes natural thermoregulatory abilities of the human body. The material with the technology THERMOCOL ensures that moisture is lead away from the body perfectly and fast and that the body is cooled down or heat is absorbed depending on specific needs of the user. The technology THERMOCOOL is often used e.g. for functional underwear and socks.

      • Can I wash a softshell jacket with fabric softeners?

        We also love adventure and adrenaline, but please do not wash softshell with fabric softeners. Clothing from softshell typically includes a coating or a membrane structure, through which the material achieves insulating and thermo-regulating properties. If you want softshell to maintain these properties even after washing, wash it only as recommended according to the maintenance symbols. Wash softshell at 30⁰C and always without fabric softener, otherwise the mentioned features would be fully degraded.

      • How often must I wash underwear?

        A real athlete is considerate, so you should wash thermal underwear after each wearing. Do this both because of your loved ones and mainly because you need the thermal underwear to last as long as possible. Functional fibres are able to lead moisture away from the body and they retain their thermal insulation properties only, if you follow instructions according to the washing symbols.         EVA is great and we like it. It is an almost indestructible foam material. EVA likes swimming, it is lightweight and versatile - suitable both for a swim and a walk around the city.       • What does the abbreviation TPR mean?

        TPR stands for thermoplastic rubber, a kind of high quality synthetic rubber. It is often confused with TPE, which is plastic however. Unlike TPE, glues stick well to TPR and thus it is more suitable for manufacturing of shoe soles.       • How do you measure the capacity of a backpack?

        A) According to the number of humps or B) Capacity of backpacks generally differs according to the used materials, the back system and the structure of the shoulder straps. As many of you will suspect, the correct answer is B). E.g. in case of tourist backpacks with a higher litre capacity, their capacity corresponds to half of their volume.

      • What is a good back system?

        A well-chosen back system relieves your back and wearing of a backpack, even with larger loads, will be more pleasant than in case of a backpack without the "back" system. The sophisticated back system allows for complete air circulation and ventilation of the back, which you will appreciate especially during intensive physical activities with hiking and sports backpacks.

      • What is the difference between back systems?

      • What does it mean when the volume of the backpack is 60 + 10 litres?

        60 litres corresponds to the litre capacity of major central compartments of a tourist backpack. 10 litres is the volume of the side pockets, or of the pocket in the lid of the backpack.

      • How to remove the detachable structure of the backpack?

        You will find Velcros or snaps in the upper back of the backpack and small textile cases in the lower back. After detaching it at the top and removing it at the bottom, the wire/aluminium back system can be disconnected. The backpack without the back system can then be cleaned or washed.

      • What is a good waist belt?

        The lumbar belt is used on tourist, hiking and cyclist backpacks. By locking the lumbar belt in the area of hips, you will prevent shifting of the backpack from side to side. When riding a bike with a backpack, it will not tilt over your head when you bend over the handlebars.  Enough with the unexpected attacks from behind by your backpack!

      • What is a good breast connection strap?

        The breast connection strap serves to lock the breast belt across the chest. The locked belt enables better fixation and stability of the backpack on your back.

      • What are compression straps?

        You can use compression straps to reduce the volume of the backpack. Things inside the backpack will thus be secured against movement. With tightened compression straps, it will be easier to catch a train or run from a bear. 

      • What is the elastic string on the bag?

        You can use an elastic drawstring to attach for example a map, sandals, folded jacket or raincoat to the backpack. In case of cyclist backpacks the elastic string is ideal for securing helmets, when you need a break or when you need to have a drink of e.g. Fofola.

      • What can be attached to the handles on the backpack?

        The handles on the backpack are used primarily to attach trekking poles, aluminium water bottles, sandals, or a dog leash or other things needed for the trip. Or they can be used by your lazy friends, if they want you to drag them uphill. Beware of such friends :-)

      • When does a backpack have two compartments or when does it have only one compartment and a front pocket?

        Most hiking backpacks with the volume of 40 litres or more have two compartments above each other. City backpacks and backpacks for leisure time with the volume of less then 30 litres usually have one compartment and a front pocket.

        SBS - SOLID BACK SYSTEM is a reliable solid support system for backpacks of a smaller volume. The strength and sophisticated structure of the back system SBS ensures secure storage of the contents inside the bag. Due to its structural strength of the supporting SBS system, it is most often used in lightweight hiking backpacks and bags with an inner liner for a notebook.

      • What does Bulltech mean?

        BULLTECH is strong polyester fabric with a characteristic lattice structure. The biggest advantage of this specially treated material consists of high tear strength due to reinforced yarns in the form of grids (mostly square, diamond or hexagonal) woven into the fabric. The meshing prevents spreading of a possible rupture, thus minimizing damage to the material. Part of this fabric is a waterproof polyurethane coating, which ensures waterproofness and abrasion resistance of the material.

      • Is the backpack machine washable?

        Smaller bags without the structure can be washed in a washing machine - without fabric softener with a mild detergent, preferably a gel. Larger bags should be carefully washed by hand without fabric softeners. You must read the label inside the backpack before washing, as it includes precise instructions for maintenance and care.       • I broke a zipper on the bag. Can you fix it?

        If you bought the backpack in our e-shop and the zipper broke down during the warranty period, we will repair or replace it.       • How do I buy a tent?

        Choose your tent mainly according to the number of people, who will sleep in it. The important points for your decision also include: how often you will use the tent (structural strength). Also consider whether you need it for an overnight stay at a festival, camping in our temperate climate zone (simple design, low weight), or if you need a very robust tent for extreme conditions, e.g. for mountains (higher weight and stronger construction of the tent). Finally, it remains to be noted that not even a large tent or sleeping in between your friends will save you from a night visit of a bear. :-)

      • Which rods for a tent are better - fiberglass, aluminium or duralwrap rods?

        The lightest, most expensive and most reliable are dural rods - those used in expensive expedition tents. We use fiberglass rods and duralwrap construction for LOAP tents. Duralwrap is in fact an ideal compromise between rods from hard aluminium and rods from fiberglass.    

      • Should I buy a tent with two layers or just one layer?

        If you want a tent for children to be set up in the garden, or a tent for a sleepover on a summer festival, all you need is a tent with single layer. For all other situations in life, we recommend double layer tents, i.e. with separate outer tent (flysheets) and inner tent.

      • I want a campsite tent. Which one should I choose?

      • I want a tent for cyclists. Which one should I choose?

        The recommended tents for cyclists, which you will carry with you on a bike, are very lightweight tents, such as Alta 2, Vats 2 and 3, Oregon 2 and Montana.

      • Do you have a tent for one person?

        LOAP does not directly offers a tent for one person, but one person will have even more comfort in tents for 2, such as Alta 2 or Oregon 2.

      •  I want a tent for the whole family. Which one should I choose?

        We recommend tents Vall, Nevada or Tundra for the family of four or more members.

      • Which models of tents have the lowest weight - for cycling trips?

        The lightest tents ideal for cycling are currently Alta 2, Oregon 2, Oxford 2 or Vats 2.

      • I want a tent for camping out. Which one should I choose?

        It depends on how many people will sleep in the tent. Anyway, choose from the series LOAP Outdoor marked with TO code. These tents are suitable for long-term and intensive use.

      • I need a tent with a vestibule for backpacks. Which one do you recommend?

        It depends on the number of persons. But generally, all the tents have LOAP apse/vestibule, into which you can put backpacks and shoes. You can store even bicycles in larger vestibules, or you can sleep in there, if you want to fall asleep staring at the stars above.:-)

      • Which tents have a mosquito net?

        Apart from the self-unfolding tent Pop Up 2 and the tent Dome Pack, all LOAP tents are equipped with mosquito nets.

      • Which tents have two bedrooms?

      • How much time does it take to set up a tent?

        The speed of setting up a tent varies from model to model. Sometimes the tent can be set up even faster by a woman than by a man. :-) In general, we can say that it will take about 5 minutes to set up the smallest tent for two people, and it will take 20 minutes to set up the largest model Tundra by two people.

      • Where do I set up a tent?

        The tent should always be set up on a flat place, from which you have removed sharp stones, cones and twigs. Choose a softer ground to nail down pegs more easily. Definitely do not place the tent under any poles of high voltage or old dry trees. Otherwise a playful romance in the tent in a thunderstorm could easily turn into a nightmare.

      • I did not find any instructions on how to set up a tent in the packaging. Where can I find some?

        Immediately after the purchase of the tent, we recommend you to try the tent out at your home or in a garden, before you really use it in nature. You will find clear instructions in the tent packaging describing the procedure concerning which part of the tent is used for what.         Except for the height of the inner tent, we indicate outer dimensions in the tent drawings. 

      • I am 190 cm high. Can I stand upright in the tent?

        A person with the height of up to 180 cm can stand upright in the tent Tundra 6, Nevada or Vall.

      • What does "evo" in the name of the tent mean?

        "Evo" means better tuned. LOAP tents labelled "Evo" are upgraded successful models from the previous season. We use newer materials and new production methods for manufacturing of products "Evo".

      • What does 3 + 1 person in the tent description mean?

        The tent labelled 3+1 is designed for 3-4 adult persons or 3 adults + 1 child. Four adults can sleep in this tent, but they will have to lie very close to each other and there won't be much comfort. The tent is ideal for 3 persons and their luggage.

      • What does a tent vestibule serve for?

        The vestibule is used for storing backpacks or bicycles. During bad weather, you can even cook or play in it.

        Yes, we sell sets of spare tent rods. You can order rods through our e-shop. If they are in stock, we will send them to you within 24 hours.

      • The tent floor started to crumble after few years of use. What should I do?

        It is very likely that the polyethylene layered floor got frozen (for a long period) when the tent was being placed. This does not happen with nylon floor. Unfortunately, we do not sell separate tent floors. Try to go to a specialist outdoor shop, which will help you choose the appropriate type of replacement tent floor.

      • The tent is wet after rain. What is wrong?

        The tent is probably leaking. Place the tent in such a way that the inner and outer tents do not touch each other. If the aforementioned layers of the tent are not in contact, yet the fly sheet leaks, it is necessary re-impregnate the outer tent (fly sheet) by  specialized impregnating agent (e.g. Nikwax brand).

      • How do I prevent dew inside the tent?

        You can prevent dew in a tent by thorough ventilation of the tent, opening the inner tent (leave the mosquito net activated). Make sure to open the vents on the outer part of the tent.

      • Is a kit for small repairs of tents included in the delivery of a tent?

        We're sorry, but it is not included. Kits for small repairs of tents can be purchased in specialized outdoor stores, for example Hudy.

      • How can I fix the tent floor?

        The floor of the tent can ne repaired by using patches and adhesives, which are part of the equipment for small repairs of tents. Unfortunately, we do not sell these kits. You can purchase them in specialized outdoor stores, for example Hudy.

      • How can I fix a torn tent?

        You will find the patch for the upper part/fly sheet of the tent (or patch and glue) in the kit for small repairs of tents. Unfortunately, we do not sell these kits. You can purchase them in specialized outdoor stores, for example Hudy.

      • How should I properly care for a tent?

        You will find clear instructions on how to care for a tent in the section Maintenance and Care,  údržba a péče  or in our article How to build a tent and take care of it.

      • How do I impregnate an old tent?

        Never wash the tent in a washing machine. When you need to re-impregnate your tent, use the special waterproofing agent (e.g. Nikwax brand).

      • How should I clean the tent floor?

        You can treat a tent floor with cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Attention, the product may be alcohol-based.

      • How do I buy a sleeping bag?

        You should choose a sleeping bag depending on how and when you want to use it. If you need to carry it in your backpack or on a bike, choose a compact and lighter sleeping bag. If you transport a sleeping bag in a car or if you will sleep in extreme climatic and weather conditions, it will be worth it to buy a bulky sleeping bag with larger fillings. Choose also according to the icons included in the captions on the sleeping bags (this information can also be found on the packaging of the sleeping bag). The description always shows weight, material composition and temperature range too. The temperature labelled Comfort is the lowest temperature, at which most of the population sleeps in a sleeping bag without any problems or feeling cold.

      • A quilt sleeping bag or a mummy?

        Most LOAP sleeping bags are mummies. Thanks to their cut mummy sleeping bags are more compact, lighter and more easily packable. On the other hand, quilt sleeping bags offer more legroom. As always, it depends on what you prefer. If your priority is more space, you won't mind a heavier sleeping bag.

      • Which sleeping bags can be joined together with a zipper?

        All our sleeping bags can be connected. The only condition is that you buy 2 identical models - one with the left and one with the right zipper. You will recognize the left zipper according to the sewn-in little flag with the letter L ("left"). The right zipper has the label with the letter R ("right").

      • Which 3 models of tents have the lowest weight - for cycling trips?

        The tents from the category Ultralight are labelled with the code SU. An ideal recommended sleeping bag for cyclists is Salinas or Orbit, which weighs 950 g, or 1000 g.

      • I need a sleeping bag for a cottage. Which one should I choose?

        If you do not have a cottage in Siberia, it is recommended to buy mainly quilt sleeping bags. "The quilt sleeping bag" can be opened completely and it can easily substitute a common quilt. Choose a sleeping bag Fiemme or Orion.

      • I need a sleeping bag for winter. Which models should I choose?

        You should certainly choose a sleeping bag from the series LOAP Expedition for colder conditions. Such sleeping bags are labelled with the code SE. These include e.g. sleeping bags Lenga, Damphu or Amoya.

      • I'm looking for a sleeping bag for cyclists. Which model do you recommend?

        An ideal recommended sleeping bag for cyclists is Salinas or Orbit, which weighs 950 g, or 1000 g. The tents from the category Ultralight are labelled with the code SU.

        Sleeping bags for kids are labelled with the word KID in the name of the sleeping bag. Currently, we offer two models for children and juniors - the mummy sleeping bag Base Kid and the quilt sleeping Fiemme Kid.

        Sleeping bags LOAP are XXL. Grown-up mummy sleeping bags are available as the standard 220 x 80 x 55 cm, quilt sleeping bags as 220 x 80 cm. Children sleeping bags are made in the size of 170 x 70 x 45 cm (mummy), or 170 x 70 cm (quilt sleeping bags). Compound sleeping bags in packages normally range from 16.5 x 36/26 cm to 24 x 45/35 cm.

      • What is the meaning of temperatures indicated for each sleeping bag?

      • What is the maximum temperature?

        It is not recommended to use the sleeping bag at a temperature higher than the maximum temperature, as you would sweat excessively.

      • What is a comfortable temperature?

        This information is an essential parameter of temperature, on the basis of which you should choose a sleeping bag. Ii indicates the upper limit, at which a person of average sensitivity to cold can still sleep without problems.

      • What is the limit value?

        This information is an essential parameter of temperature, on the basis of which you should choose a sleeping bag. Ii indicates the bottom limit, at which a person of average sensitivity to cold can still sleep without problems.

      • What is the minimum value?

        You can still use the sleeping bag at a temperature lower than the specified minimum temperature, but the sleep or rest will already be uncomfortable for people sensitive to cold.

      • Which of these temperatures - MAX, COMFORT, LIMIT, MIN is the most important for me?

        The most important values ​​for you are Comfort and Limit. These temperatures define the temperature, at which a person with average sensitivity to cold can sleep without any problems.       • How do I connect two sleeping bags with a zipper?

        Connect two sleeping bags together, provided that you own the left-side zipper and right-side zipper version of the same model (see the designation "L" and "R" on the packaging of the sleeping bag). First, you need to open the zippers on both sleeping bags completely. Then insert the zipper sliders in the opposite sleeping bags. This way you will connect the sleeping bags together and you can start to snuggle. :-)

      • Can I connect two sleeping bags, which differ only in the name of the designation "EVO"?

        Such sleeping bags cannot be joined.

      • What is the difference between a single-layer and double-layer structure of a sleeping bag?

        Sleeping bags with monolayer structures are lighter, more space-saving and generate less heat than sleeping bags with two layers, the so-called "sandwich" structure.

      • What is a single-layer structure?

        The inner filling of a sleeping bag is stuffed with only one layer from hollow fibres. The monolayer structure is used in the series LOAP Ultralight marked with the SU code and in some sleeping bags marked with the code SP from the series LOAP Promo. The advantages of this design are a low weight and space-saving characteristics.

      • What is a two-layer structure?

        The inner filling of a sleeping bag is stuffed in two layers, which overlap each other like in a sandwich. This type of construction is used in sleeping bags of the series LOAP Expedition, Outdoor and Kids. You can also find the sandwich structure in the series LOAP Promo. The advantage of this design is especially its warmth.

      • How do I know that a sleeping bag is waterproof?

        Sleeping bags with rainproof coating are labelled W/R. However, if you happen to like a sleeping without this label, do not worry, you will get other benefits. Rainproof sleeping bags are less breathable and one sweats more in them. You can ensure an additional water-resistance of a sleeping bag by purchasing a special sac, which is to be pulled over the sleeping bag. Another option is to use a special foil (it was formerly called tarpaulin), which you hang above yourself, when you don't have a tent and sleep under the stars. You can purchase both sacs and foils in specialized outdoor stores, for example Hudy etc.

      • What does Thermolite Qualllo mean?

        THERMOLITE QUALLO is a high-quality filling for sleeping bags specially designed so that the minimum weight of the material ensures maximum thermal insulation properties comparable with feathers. THERMOLITE QUALLO is seven-channel patented fibre of the company DuPont with anti-allergic treatment. Sleeping bags filled with this filling are machine washable.

      • What does Thermolite Extra mean?

        Thermolite Extra is a high-quality filler specially developed for the use in extremely low temperatures while maintaining the minimum weight of the material. The thermal insulation filling technology Thermolite Extra is a blend of three types of flexible spiral hollow fibres with high elastic memory. Hollow fibres have a long life due to their high quality.

      • What does PolyPlus mean?

        POLYPLUS is a high-quality thermal insulation filling from hollow fibre with great level of fluffiness. The filling technology POLYPLUS protects even at high humidity levels, and it is therefore preferably used in high-quality sleeping bags. The material obtains its unrivalled softness and smoothness due to the fibres of siliconised 100% polyester. Sleeping bags filled with POLYPLUS are easy to maintain and fast-drying. Another advantage of the filling technology POLYPUS is an excellent shape memory, which means that the sleeping bag quickly returns to its original volume after compression.

    • MAINTENANCE AND CARE
      • How to properly pack a sleeping bag?

        The two following procedures can be considered the best. First procedure: Draw a closed and dry sleeping bag on a flat surface with no sharp debris, fold it in half lengthwise and roll it up from the bottom of the hood into the smallest possible cylinder. Place the sleeping bag, folded in this way, into the package. 2nd procedure: Close the sleeping bag across the entire length and gradually insert it into the package without folding it. Then, pull the drawstring on the packaging and possibly even the lateral compressors.       • Is the sleeping bag machine washable?

        It is very easy to clean a slightly soiled sleeping bag. Wipe it with a sponge and soapy water. In case the sleeping bag is very dirty, wash it in a washing machine at max. 30⁰C. Use a gentle detergent or gel, rinse properly in the washing machine and then wring it out by hand. Tumble dry at max. 30⁰C. Chemical cleaning is not recommended.         Do not store a sleeping bag in a compression packaging. Ideally, hang it on a clothes hanger or in a special air bag. You can by this bag in specialist outdoor stores.         It depends on individual feeling of each person, but most of us want a self-inflating sleeping pad. It is more space-saving, it protects you better both from cold and from uneven surface, on which you are lying.

        A self-inflating sleeping pad can be folded within 2-3 minutes.

      • How do I clean a self-inflating sleeping pad?

        You only need a sponge, lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser to clean a self-inflating sleeping pad. You will find more maintenance tips in the section Maintenance and Care.  Údržba a péče.

      • How is a self-inflating sleeping pad inflated?

        After unpacking, the self-inflating sleeping pad will be automatically inflated from 80%, you need to inflate it yourself to 100% using the valve, which is located in the corner of the pad.

      • How is a self-inflating sleeping pad deflated?

        Loosen the outlet valve, which is located in the corner of the sleeping pad. Then fold the sleeping pad in half and start rolling it up. By gradually rolling it up, you will push out all the air.

      • Does the delivery of a self-inflating sleeping pad include a spare adhesive kit?

        We do not sell glue sets for self-inflating sleeping pads. You can purchase these sets in specialist outdoor stores, for example Hudy.

      • How do you patch a sleeping pad (with glue)?

        You need only a glue and a patch corresponding to the size of the damage to seal a sleeping pad.
